Rolando gives celebrated Verdi performance, first of five Berlin appearances this spring

Rolando’s concert with the Staatskapelle Berlin and Daniel Barenboim was celebrated by audience and critics alike. “Ravishing… the audience flipped over with excitement,” raved the Berliner Morgenpost of Rolando’s performance of four of Giuseppe Verdi’s Romances orchestrated by Luciano Berio. As encores, the Mexican French tenor joined Maestro Barenboim at the piano for performances of two more Romances in their original version. Click here for photos from the concert.
