Rolando returns to Royal Opera as Rodolfo in La bohème

Rolando Villazón makes his return to the Royal Opera House Covent Garden this December as the penniless poet Rodolfo in Puccini’s La bohème, with a broadcast of the performance to cinemas across Europe on January 15. Puccini’s romantic depiction of bohemian Paris comes to life with an international cast that boasts Maija Kovalevska as Mimì, Stefania Dovhan as Musetta, and baritone Audun Iversen as Marcello in a production by John Copley. Rolando’s performances at the Royal Opera House begin December 17 and run through January 10.
