Stars von Morgen returns to ZDF and ARTE in November with bonus content

Presented by Rolando Villazón, Stars von Morgen returns to ZDF and ARTE next month. In four episodes, Rolando introduces a new group of artists in his ongoing showcase of outstanding young musical talent.

The season premiere on November 6 will feature soprano Golda Schultz, the Arcis Saxophone Quartet, bass Anatoli Sivko, and violinist Mayumi Kanagawa.

November 13’s episode includes flautist Mathilde Caldérini, tenor Levy Sekgapane, percussionist Christoph Sietzen, and pianist Dmitri Levkovich.

November 20’s episode highlights soprano Elsa Benoit, Quatuor Anches Hantées, baritone Manuel Walser, and cellist Anastasia Kobenika.

Finally, November 27’s episode will showcase pianist Seong-Jin Cho, mezzo-soprano Tara Erraught, violinist Noa Wildschut, and trombonist Michael Buchanan. As always, Elias Grandy leads the Junge Sinfonie Bern for each episode.

On November 27, ARTE and ZDF will also present Stars von Morgen Revisited. In celebration of the program’s fifth year, the documentary will look at where the careers of some of its 80 guests have progressed. The return of Stars von Morgen will also be heralded with a November 6 re-broadcast of Mozart in Prague, Rolando’s exploration of the composer’s Don Giovanni in the city of its world premiere.
