Triumphant start to Rolando’s Verdi tour with sold-out Laeiszhalle in Hamburg
Last Friday Rolando kicked off his 15-city European tour celebrating Verdi’s 200th anniversary at the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. At the end of the program featuring arias selected from Macbeth, Luisa Miller and Oberto – among many others – the audience in the sold-out hall celebrated Rolando, conductor Guerassim Voronkov and the Czach National Symphony Orchestra with 15 minutes of standing ovations. Rolando thanked the crowd with three encores. Bild called the concert a “triumph of a world star and the undoubtedly and deservedly most popular classical star in the world.” Join Rolando on his tour. Discover all the dates here.
