Rolex Presents “Perpetual Music,” featuring Rolex Testimonee Rolando Villazón

On September 3, Rolex Testimonee Rolando Villazón and violinist Renaud Capuçon host and perform in a concert as part of Rolex’s Perpetual Music series. Launched as an initiative to support musicians during the COVID-19 pandemic, this project features three concerts on August 21, September 1, and September 3. These performances involve approximately 100 artists whose lives and work have been affected by the pandemic.

Arnaud Boetsch, Rolex Director of Communications and Image, shares “During these difficult times, when musicians have suffered both the loss of audience and income, our aim is to provide them the opportunity to perform with renowned artists at prestigious venues with the finest acoustics.”

Each concert features solo and chamber repertoire performed by these musicians, who are joined by internationally acclaimed artists that have been selected by Rolex to host these events. Rolando and Capuçon host and perform in the September 3 concert, which takes place at the Palais Garnier of the Opéra national de Paris.

Audiences can watch this and all of the Perpetual Music concerts live on at 2pm ET.
