The Art of Bel Canto in Bulgaria, Austria, and Germany
On April 2, Rolando Villazon and pianist Sarah Tyzman appear in recital at Bulgaria Concert Hall in Sofia, presenting a recital of Italian melodies that celebrate the bel canto tradition. The exciting program features arias and art songs by Alessandro Scarlatti, Vincenzo Bellini, Giuseppe Verdi, Paolo Tosti, Giacomo Puccini, and more!
Later in the month, Villazon and Tyzman will reprise this program in Austria, appearing at Musikverein Graz on April 24 and at Congress Hall in Innsbruck on April 26. The duo appears in recital again on May 23, at Germany’s Festspielhaus Baden-Baden.
