‘Das Rheingold’ at Staatsoper Berlin

Rolando Villazón returns to the Staatsoper Berlin to star as Loge in Wagner’s Das Rheingold. After his acclaimed role debut earlier this season, he returns on April 4 to sing another performance on director Dmitri Tcherniakov’s amazing multifloored and multiroomed set.

Mr. Villazón shares the stage with a top-notch cast, including Tomasz Konieczny as Wotan, Claudia Mahnke as Fricka, Anna Kissjudit as Erde, Johannes Martin Kränzle as Alberich, and Stephan Rügamer as Mime. Philippe Jordan conducts.
