‘Die Fledermaus’ at Theater St. Gallen

Rolando Villazón makes his role debut as Gabriel von Eisenstein in Johann Strauss’ charming operetta, Die Fledermaus on December 10, 12, and 14 and January 11 at Theater St. Gallen. 

Villazón joins an outstanding cast, featuring Athanasia Zöhrer as Rosalinde, Kali Hardwick and Theresa Steinbach as Adele, Brian Michael Moore as Alfred, Äneas Humm as Dr. Falke, and Jennifer Panera as Prinz Orlofsky. Michael Balke conducts Guta Rau’s production.

While Villazón is making his role debut, he is no stranger to the piece. Acting as director, his time-traveling production of Die Fledermaus premiered in 2018 at Deutsche Oper Berlin, and is available to stream on Medici.tv.
