Serenata latina in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Six-Fours-les-Plages

This June, Rolando Villazón reunites with harpist Xavier de Maistre for Serenata latina, a joint recital that highlights composers from Villazón’s homeland of Mexico, as well as Latin and South America.  The program will feature songs and canzonas by Carlos Guastavino, Antonio Estévez, Yvette Souviron, Silvio Rodríguez, and others.

The duo begins this leg of their tour in Asia, with a performance at Shanghai’s Grande Theatre on June 3, followed by Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts on June 6, and Shenzhen Concert Hall on June 8. After returning to Europe, the two perform together on June 21 in France’s beautiful Six-Fours-les-Plages.
