Spanish Songs At The Musik Landschaft Westfalen Festival
On August 15 and 16, Rolando Villazón performs at the Musiklandschaft Westfalen Festival for two evenings of Spanish songs. Joined by soprano Charlotte Langner under the baton of Michael Zlabinger, this program blends zarzuela tradition with operatic passion—an experience audiences won’t want to miss.
It’s a welcome return for the tenor, who was was last seen at the festival in 2025 at its “Night of Opera” gala, where he performed works by Verdi and Mozart, also conducted by Michael Zlabinger. Audiences raved about his unmistakable voice, vibrant stage presence, and the special atmosphere of the evening, leading to an invitation for a 2026 return with an extra concert added on August 16 due to high demand.
Both concerts will take place at 8:00pm, with doors opening at 6pm at the Raesfeld Castle.
